MECADROMO
Introducing Revelot Mecadromo, a modern day meca-quartz chronograph with a touch of vintage notes.
Since our childhood days, we at Revelot have always been a fan of motorsports, from the creation of the R8 vintage racer in 2018 and the Revelot Veloce in 2019, its about time for us to revisit our passion for racing. With many requests pouring in to make a mechanical chronograph, after much consideration between Seiko and Seagull ST19, we have decided to use the Seiko VK63 meca-quartz due to its reliability and stability. As expected.
The Revelot Mecadromo will be a value packed monster with early bird prices starting from around EUR190.
CASE & BEZEL
The Revelot Mecadromo features an industry standard 316L stainless steel case with an aluminum tachymeter bezel that serves as a nod to the 70's racing timepieces. The multi-faceted lugs are bullhorn inspired with an angular twist with a mix of brush and polish finishes. Resting on top is a single domed sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating underneath.
DIAL & INDICES
Racing over to the dial, you may pick between an asphalt textured dial or a fully lumed dial surrounded by race flag styled chapter marker. Every Mecadromo is designed with racing themed colors in mind drawing inspirations from famous racing liveries of our time.
MOVEMENT
The SII (Seiko Instruments) caliber VK63 is a hybrid mechanical quartz (mechaquartz) movement. It combines quartz technology for the primary functions of the watch with a mechanical module to operate the chronograph. This caliber VK63 is produced by SII, also known as Hattori, TMI (Time Module Inc), or Seiko Instruments Inc.
LUME
The Mecadromo hands and indices are all filled with Swiss Super-Luminova BGW9 ensuring clear legibility when driving through tunnels.
